Girl's Day at Ganter in Waldkirch

Once a year, Girls’ Day takes place across Germany—a day dedicated to the future, during which schoolgirls gain insights into various career fields.

This year, too, we organized an event at the Ganter Group and welcomed a young girl to our power plant in Waldkirch.

Together, we didn’t just watch—we got hands-on: we built, screwed, and experimented. In the end, she proudly held her very own Ganter Tesa tape dispenser in her hands—a small project that sparked much more than just a finished product.

What was particularly at the heart of it all:

Curiosity turned into enthusiasm.

Experimentation turned into self-confidence.

And that’s exactly what matters to us. We don’t just want to talk about how important female perspectives are in technical and skilled trades—we want to bring them to life—directly, practically, and without any fear of taking the first step.

Perhaps this day was just a first glimpse for her. But perhaps it was also the start of a new idea for the future.

We’d like to say thank you for this day together and are already looking forward to the next Girls’ Day.
