Creative workplace in a historic building
For GetYourGuide, Ganter converted the Ampere transformer station in Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg into the new global headquarters of the leading online provider of travel experiences. The first construction phase comprised the revitalisation of the listed Ampere building and the interior fit-out according to the designs of Kinzo Architekten and Lippert Kavelly Architekten from Berlin. Ganter was responsible for the execution planning and coordination of the numerous on-site trades: interior fittings including electrical, plumbing, flooring work, drywall, painting, doors, glass partitions and acoustics. The casual industrial look with visible installations, uniform grey flooring and fixtures made of maritime pine is softened by colourful furniture and carpets. The new space of approx. 7,000 m², distributed over seven floors, now offers perfect conditions for concentrated work, important meetings and creative exchange for up to 700 employees.
