MOXY Hotel

Even the key data of the most recent project, which Ganter realised for the Dutch client , sound record-breaking: another Moxy Hotel with 162 rooms, five floors and 6,000 square metres in the building and outside area – realised in only twelve months of construction time. Last but not least, the experience that Ganter was able to gain from the earlier Moxy projects in Vienna and Ludwigshafen nevertheless made a punctual and successful completion possible. Thus, one of the modern lifestyle hotels also opened its doors in Munich, Aschheim in February 2018.

As general contractor, Ganter was responsible for the calculation of the statics and the implementation planning, as well as for the concrete work, the assembly of the room modules, the roof work and the work on the rear-ventilated aluminium façade. In addition, Ganter took on all electrical and installation work for heating, air conditioning, ventilation and sanitary facilities, was responsible for drywall construction, doors and minor carpentry work, laid the floors and designed the outdoor area.

In order to win the tremendous race against time, it was first a matter of finding reliable and qualified subcontractors for the building construction and coordinating their work. Time was also saved by the fact that the rooms of the upper floors were delivered on site asVastint Holding B.V. ready-made boxes in prefabricated timber construction and directly installed. A procedure that had already been tried and tested on earlier Moxy projects. This is typical of the extremely efficient and goal-oriented way of working on these construction sites. Ganter is particularly proud of one of the client’s final comments: “Best quality ever” was his succinct assessment of the work done.
