MSC World Europa – a cruise ship of superlatives
Interior fittings for the high seas require expertise and know-how. The team from Ganter France in Saint-Nazaire has been carrying out high-quality interior fit-out projects on cruise ships at home on the world's oceans for many years.
The MSC World Europa set sail for the first time in October 2022. Like every previous cruise ship project in the history of the Ganter Group, this ocean liner was also a prototype. The Ganter team was commissioned to realise two different areas at once: the fitness centre on deck 20 and the Sportplex area on decks 20 and 21.
For years, guests have attached great importance to varied sporting activities and high-quality equipment during their holidays. On the MSC World Europa, every guest can do strength training, endurance sports or yoga to his or her liking. 700 m² of space in the fitness centre offer enough room for bikes, treadmills, punching bags, weights & Co. There are also two yoga rooms, two changing rooms, two saunas and an integrated sales area for sports accessories.

Ganter is the interface between customers, architects, designers and suppliers
The Ganter project team implemented the design concepts of the Norwegian architecture and design studio YSA Design from Oslo in a 17-month construction phase. In addition to the fitness centre, from which guests have a fantastic view of the pool deck two decks below, the 400 m² Sportplex area also fell. It is the purest play, sports and fun paradise for young and old. Bumper cars, football, basketball – no wish is left unfulfilled here. A net wall designed by the Ganter team especially for MSC World Europa and the Sportplex protects the spectators from the actively played sports area and any balls flying around.
From the spectator area, guests have an exclusive view over the edge of the pitch out to sea. But they can also see the open road six decks below.
In addition to various detailed designs, Ganter's services also include material procurement, purchasing and installation management.
