The Apartment, Bicester Retail Village

GANTER UK Ltd. recently completed “The Apartment” in Bicester Retail Village for our client Value Retail. This new “by-appointment-only” VIP space, in Oxfordshire, offers Hands-Free Shopping service to assist visitors with their purchases and to serve an effortless shopping experience.
Only 10 days after being awarded the project, we started on site with a full team to carry out the project, and to co-ordinate with the client’s own suppliers (such as security, IT, etc.). The timescale of the job was a particular challenge: Within 4 months GANTER built this 600 sq.m. space, according to the design of the architects of Lyons Sleeman Hoare. Ganter was responsible for the full interior fit-out of the new, empty shell to create this luxurious and exclusive space for events and personal shopping. GANTER installed partition walls, and was responsible for the wall finishes including tiling with lava-stone. We integrated the ceilings, installed all the HVAC (a specified heating/ventilating/air conditioning) system, the electrical work and fitted the specified lighting system. Furthermore we customized millwork elements and we have been responsible for the floor finishes as well as for the stone and parquet flooring with high quality timber units. Finally, we installed the kitchen and service areas.
With excellent project management, and working around the clock, we managed to open in time the highlight of the new extension to the Shopping Village!
