Stepping into the 21st Century
Ganter realised the new flagship store on Rue Saint-Honoré to designs by the Balenciaga designer Demna Gvasalia and the architects Gonzalez Haase. Visitors stepping into Balenciaga from a classic Parisian boulevard will be surprised at the state-of-the-art materials, clearly defined lines and elegantly cool monochrome colour scheme. Here, it is abundantly clear: this is the 21st century.
The combination of textured-concrete floors, shotcrete walls, stainless-steel counters, leather benches and reflective aluminium ceiling panels creates a bold industrial aesthetic. Ganter France and Ganter Interior Waldkirch worked closely with the client and the architects to design the entire shop interior. The sophisticated lighting system, which disperses light evenly, creates a particularly impressive ambiance. Equally impactful are the chrome merchandise racks – metal tubes like those in old factories that run through the entire showroom, offering limitless options for presenting high-end fashion.
