Apprenticeship start 2023 – welcome to the team

On 1 September 2023, four new apprentices started at Ganter Interior GmbH: Emilia Schulz and Isabelle Wagner as industrial clerks and Eric Fotteler and Maximilian Hagios as technical product designers, all at the headquarters in Waldkirch.

We warmly welcome our new apprentices to #TeamGanter and look forward to spending time with them, where many exciting interior fit-out projects and a great team await them.

This is what happened in the 1st week of their apprenticeship

Our new apprentices had a full programme in their first week to learn more about Ganter, the internal processes and training with us. Presentation of the company, IT training, occupational safety, informative e-learning and a company rally – perfect for getting to know their new place of work and their new colleagues.

Even during apprenticeship, it is important at Ganter to have a good work-life balance. That's why our new apprentices were able to take part in the traditional apprenticeship event, which was quite sporty this year, and attend the 'Fit for training' workshop offered by BARMER at the Rückgrat fitness centre in Emmendingen. The programme included a balanced and varied diet, mental training and at the end a sports session to end the day well.

'The first week was great! We spent a lot of time with the apprentices, the new ones, but also the ones from the second and third year. That was great to get to know each other better and to arrive in our new working environment.'

The apprentices from the 2nd and 3rd year also had a lot to do during the first week of apprenticeship. In addition to training sessions such as telephone training or setting up the workplace, they were also happy to help the new 'newcomers' with any questions they had about the apprenticeship. Among the highlights of the week for all of them were the joint breaks and the apprentice excursion. The canoe trip was not only a complete success, but also brought the entire team closer together.

We are looking forward to starting the coming weeks together and are sure that this is the beginning of an exciting journey!
