Ganter Suisse under new management – welcome back, Chris!

After two years, Chris Frenademez is returning to the Ganter Group as Business Unit Manager. In February 2023, his predecessor Marco Meerkämper handed over the reins of the nine-strong team in Schenkon after four years. We think this is a really good time for an interview.

Chris, we are very pleased that we were able to recruit you for our #GanterSuisse team for a second time. How was your arrival?
My arrival was really very, very warm. I was really looking forward to meeting this motivated team. I still know some of the faces from my time as Project Manager and Business Team Manager at Ganter. In the last two years, contact was never broken off. I was always visiting the office in Schenkon and in contact with my colleagues. I simply like the team very much. I know what they are capable of and what potential they have. In particular, I appreciate the collegiality and the fact that everyone works in a very process-optimised way. With excellent know-how and the wealth of experience, so much is still possible and I look forward to lots of interior design projects with them in the future.

#whyGanter, Chris? From the employee's point of view, but also from the customer's perspective - what makes Ganter so interesting for brands and companies from different industries and sectors, architects and designers?
I came back to Ganter because I already knew the company and know that the corporate values match mine. I also find the projects extremely interesting. The clientele from our three core areas Retail, Commercial and Residential are varied and anything but monotonous.

From the customer's point of view, the focus is clearly on our all-round carefree package. When you book Ganter, the motto is: "Relax, we care"! We know our regular customers, get to the bottom of the needs and values of new customers, want to understand, think around corners and steps ahead, look for solutions until the problem is simply no longer a problem.

If you could wish for an interior design project exactly to your taste? What would you like to realise one day?
I would love to fit out or convert a vault for a bank. I imagine that the technical requirements in particular would be extremely high. The more demanding, the more exciting and challenging for me. And I am convinced that we would master such a project as a team with flying colours.

What goals have you set yourself for your first year as Business Unit Manager?
I want us to be a really effective team in a year's time. Along the way, we'll continue to refine our expertise. And I want to increase our resources: We are currently looking for experienced project managers for our Swiss team. For more information on vacancies, please visit our job portal. Just have a look, pass it on or contact me or my colleague Linda Leimenstoll from the HR department at our headquarters in Waldkirch directly.

Thank you very much for the interview, Chris. We wish you and your team in Schenkon every success and look forward to many exciting interior design projects that you will realise together. Perhaps a safe room will also be one of them at some point.
