“The Chedi Hotel”, a five-star residence in Andermatt, Switzerland, boasts a unique penthouse loft: four spacious bedrooms, four elegant baths, a dressing room, an integrated lift, a fully fitted kitchen, a living room with an open fireplace, a bar and a balcony that looks out on the Swiss Alps all make this residence an enchanting and exclusive place to stay. On a floor area of 320 m², it offers pure relaxation and comfort after an active day in the mountains, afforded by a harmonious interior that brings traditional elements together with contemporary design. Ganter assumed responsibility for the entire interior fit out as general contractor, using only the best materials and most recent technology for the project. The construction and workmanship of the ceiling, with its slanted wood beams, called for a particularly high degree of precision and skill. On the other hand, the weather demanded the utmost flexibility: Despite the metre-deep snow, all construction materials and furnishings arrived in the fifth floor by way of a crane. But even this is not too much for a contractor from the Black Forest to handle professionally and appropriately.
