Babor

The cosmetics manufacturer Babor has been drawing visitors in to a completely new beauty experience sprawled over a space of 250 m². The exclusive brand store realised by Ganter creates an appetite for luxurious beauty care and was notably honoured with the German Design Award in the category „Excellent Architecture“.
Based on a design concept developed by Liganova, Ganter as general contractor realised the complete interior fittings with all finishing trades as well as the furnishing components in only three months in close cooperation with the customer.
The elements water and oil – two central ingredients for Babor cosmetics – have influenced all areas of the Liganova store design. Even the building materials such as stone, aluminium, concrete or wood and the furniture allude to these two elements in colour and texture. The wall panelling made of real stone veneer and high-quality laminate with an extra matt finish can also be found in the centre furniture, which features additional elements of satin-finished glass. In the public area, a specially dyed and seamless cement-based floor covering has also been laid and is complemented by high-quality carpeting. The doors are frameless and flush fittings that fit discreetly into the room concept.
Highlights are the fountains, which impresses with its calm and perfect water distribution, as well as the Science Bar, a stylized laboratory that eye-catchingly displays the worldfamous laboratory ampoules. In the back area, there is a lounge, a room for skin analysis and five spacious treatment rooms.
