Realised by "master hand": the royal class of interior design
GANTER realised a new shop for the renowned jeweller Meister 1881. The design for the new concept of the traditional shop in Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse was created by the Andrin Schweizer Company. The renowned architect defined the interior design of the jeweller’s shop on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse as „the king’s class of interior design“ and explained: „With such a fine and noble product as watches and jewellery, it is extremely important to think through the details of the interior design precisely and to execute them with particular care.
Many years of experience in showcase construction for renowned luxury brands
As a general contractor, precision work is a matter of course for us and so GANTER has also rebuilt and renovated this property to the highest standards of aesthetics and functionality. Ganter has experience with renowned luxury brands, especially with regard to the exclusive display case construction: In the past, we have already designed exclusive showcases with sophisticated lighting and safety technology for customers such as Tiffany, De Beers and Montblanc. Experience and know-how, which we were now able to incorporate into the design and production of the showcases (tables) for Meister 1881. GANTER also designed and installed the shop windows as well as various fixtures and furniture: for example, the wall panelling and the brass-coloured sliding elements with different, transparent grid structures, which can be closed off and allow a flexible design of the shop windows and thus insights into the sales rooms. The new shop convinces with restrained, elegant materials, which do not push themselves to the fore compared to the presented pieces of jewellery, but emphasise the value of the objects: White oiled oak, fine leather and brass accentuate the wood-clad walls and showcases. Here the craft can be directly experienced. Not only in the perfect realisation by Ganter, but also by the jeweller, whose studios and workshops are now only separated from the sales area by a glass partition wall. The result is a „masterpiece“ in the truest sense of the word.
