Shang Hai Food Market

Within just two months, we modernized the Shanghai Food Market in Stuttgart's Milaneo from the ground up and transformed it into a unique Asian supermarket. We implemented blocher partners' design concept with the utmost precision and technical expertise.

Our scope of services included the complete dismantling of the existing store as well as the modernization of the entire technical infrastructure, including electrics, sanitary facilities, air conditioning and sprinkler systems as well as the adaptation to current fire protection regulations. We also supplied and installed all the store fittings, including tills, shelving, refrigerators and a customized lighting solution.

A particular highlight of the store is the red expanded metal ornament we designed, which is a striking eye-catcher throughout the store. The robust industrial floor was also color-coordinated with the walls, which were designed using a spatula technique with a concrete look, to create a modern and harmonious overall look. The entrance portal and the wall shelves are made of high-quality maritime pine and were glazed in a warm yellow tone.
