Miron and Petar, our two school interns, got to know the different subject areas such as project management, calculation and marketing of the Ganter Group during their one-week internship. One task from marketing was to conduct a mutual interview.
The first three questions went to Petar:
Petar, in which area are you doing your internship?
I am doing my internship in the area of technical product design. For example, I got to know the AutoCAD programme better and was allowed to measure and draw a table and then create a 3D model of it.
Why did you decide to do an internship at Ganter?
I was recommended the company by friends and would like to further my technical education. I could also imagine doing a job in this direction later on.
Did the internship help you with your career decisions? If so, can you give me some examples?
The internship helped me in that I know that I definitely like the subject area. However, I don't want to commit myself yet and would like to get a taste of other professional fields.
The second round of questions went to Miron:
Miron, what is the focus of your internship?
My internship is in the area of industrial clerk. I get an insight into many different areas such as project management or marketing, learn more about the technical and financial processing of an interior fitout project or insights into the design and maintenance of the website.
How did you find out about Ganter?
I had my first contact with the company in January at the Jobstart fair in Freiburg, also got into conversation with apprentices at the booth and subsequently informed myself and applied.
What did you like the most?
What I liked most was the diverse insights into the different company departments and that I was allowed to participate in real projects.
